Senior Process Engineer


Technical Skills:

•             Process Engineering professional with previous project experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf

•             Good understating of Norwegian Regulatory Requirements (including Norsok) and API

 

Work Tasks:

•           Conduct process and utility system designs and simulations

•           Prepare Process drawings (PFDs, UFDs and P&IDs)

•           Undertake process equipment, valve and instrumentation evaluation and sizing

•           Develop process deliverables including process datasheets, line sizing and line list, calculations and system documentation

•           Prepare process safety analysis report, design reports and give input to start-up and commissioning procedures, update system operational manuals

•           Preparation and actively participation in project reviews like process design reviews, HAZOPs and other safety reviews

•           Perform inter-discipline and discipline check of the documents produced by the project organization

•           Support mechanical and instrument disciplines during equipment / instruments requisitioning and follow up vendor packages

•           Ensure that all internal and external interfaces are identified and followed up within the area of responsibility

 

Requirements:

•             Education: Bachelor degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering or similar

•             Minimum 3 years relevant experience

•             Software experience preferred: IFS and Aspen Hysys

•             Courses and certification preferred: Basic safety and emergency preparedness training with a valid offshore certificate

•             A pro-active and collaborative mindset with good communication skills

•             Demonstrate an active HSE attitude

 


Duration:

•             One years with possibilities for extension
