Interfacing with the client and main contractor, we are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to support the project development. Previous experience with onshore oil & gas, petrochemical or energy transition project is essential for this role.
Job Purpose & Scope
-Ensure HSSE goals and targets are met
-Supervise the Mechanical (Static and Rotating Equipment) Engineering content for the assigned project to ensure that Technical Objectives are met within the approved scope , budget and schedule
-Supervise and oversee and coordinate regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical (Static and Rotating Equipment) related Engineering Deliverables developed by Feed / EPCM contractor’s and subcontractor’s, vendors and suppliers ,
-Ensuring Design optimization in compliance with relevant codes standards and best practices
- Participate in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to ensure Design optimization and validation
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum 12 years of experience including 8 years in the field of mechanical engineering in the Oil & Gas projects
Communications and languages skills
- Proficient in English language oral and written
