NRL are currently recruiting for an CAD Engineer on behalf of one of our Clients based in Cranfield on a initial 12 months basis.
Expectations in this role:
Take CAD designs from concept to finished model and produce finished drawings for engineering release where applicable
Prepare engineering release packs
Manage created CAD into Team centre ensuring all model attributes are complete
CAD design & modelling of metal & interior/exterior trim components
Support & investigate resolution of build issues during pre-production & launch phase
Support cost down activities on current production vehicles
You will need:
HNC or Equivalent within an Engineering discipline
Experienced NX user, including complex surfacing
Experience using Teamcenter
Knowledge of metal and interior/exterior trim components
A working knowledge of component manufacturing and tooling requirements
Ability to work under minimum supervision
