Job title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Washington
NRL are pleased to be partnering with a niche engineering and instrumentation company, Thermal Resources Management Limited based in Washington. TRM work in the field of temperature measurements, trace heating and fire survival wiring using mineral insulated cables.
Due to a significant period of growth, they are looking to expand their team and recruit a permanent Mechanical Engineer.
Reporting to the technical Director, you will be responsible for:
The development of new products to enhance the companies range of product offering. This will involve the use of product development tools including 3D CAD and it is expected that you will be familiar with these.
Able to work as part of a multi-skilled team providing extreme environment solutions.
Able to understand customer requirements, drawings and proposals to produce solutions in the form of drawings or samples.
Able to assist production technicians with process methods and production of new designs.
Able to liaise with customers at up to engineer level to discuss electrical. mechanical and technical selection of solutions.
Working on multiple projects at once.
Who we are looking for?
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attributes:
HNC qualification (Mechanical)
Experience in mechanical design working on isometrics/P&ID/instrumentation using CAD tools and software
Machine building experience (Preferred)
CNC Programming experience
CAM experience
Willing to travel for business purposes
