MCIPS Project Manager – Heysham (Hybrid)

NRL are working with a leading consultancy who are known as one of the best in the industry. They have a requirement for a MCIPS Project Manager to join the team that manages and assists with projects across the fleet that now are valued around £40m.

This position is key to the delivery of the projects. This role will see you aligning with the nuclear sites supply chain.

Based at Heysham B, this is busy and exciting role for the successful candidate to get to grips with site working and managing supply chains and procure projects.


Responsibilities:

Our Project Managers are accountable to the client PPM for successful delivery of all aspects of their assigned projects.

As the Project Manager you will set the project execution strategy in agreement with the client PPM and uses a cross-functional project team to deliver the project safely in line with company policies and procedures, achieving established goals and objectives within the agreed baseline. This role has no direct reports.

What you will need to excel in the role:

  • MCIPS or currently working towards

  • Ideally degree educated however open to alternative educational routes

  • Proven commercial exposure with experience working in a regulated environment

  • APMP or equivalent project management qualification

  • Understanding of engineering or nuclear
