Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical industry to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and research facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, including HVAC, process piping, and plant utilities.
  • Project Support: Provide support for projects from conceptual design through detailed design, commissioning, and qualification.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, particularly those related to FDA and GMP.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, designers, and client representatives to coordinate project deliverables.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide troubleshooting and technical support for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Site Visits: Participate in site visits to assess project requirements and oversee installation and commissioning activities.
  • Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with GMP, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
  • Certifications: EIT or PE certification is a plus.
