Our client requires a Senior Instrument Designer on an LNG FEED Project for an initial 6 month contract role that has an immediate start. 

The role will be based on 5 days a week in the client's Offices in Leatherhead. Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.

The role is likely to be outside IR35. 


Job Description:

This role involves preparing various Instrumentation and Telecommunication engineering deliverables, such as block diagrams, location layouts, cable routing layouts, material takeoff, bill of materials, control room, and rack room layouts.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in 3D drafting software packages, specifically S3D.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as Electrical and Piping, to provide instrumentation and telecom inputs.

  • Ensure the quality of work within the group and supervise the Designer(s) reporting to you.

  • Adhere to company and project standards, procedures, and specifications.

  • Experience in coordinating with high-value Engineering Centres.

  • 3D modelling experience and the ability to extract drawings from 3D models are advantageous.
