About the role:
- The post holder is expected to ensure that the business meets the minimums required by HSE legislation, regulation and guidance including the requirements of the client HS&E management systems.
- Extensive experience of working in an operating/regulatory HS&E environment.
- Environmental background would be beneficial due to waste water discharge disturbance during site work.
- Dealing with RAMS periodically when required.
- Excellent working knowledge of current regulatory requirements and standards for HS&E compliance.
- The post holder will provide support, advice and expertise on HS&E technical and legislative matters on short and long term issues. This will include the key aspects of:
- Providing technical and legislative knowledge on HS&E matters
- Capable of identifying issues and supporting technical decisions and commitments on behalf of the business in these highly regulated fields.
- Excellent communications and inter-personal skills with the ability to present technical and complex concepts to a wide audience.
- Self-directed with strong organisational skills and methodical approach to provide practical solutions to complex issues.
- Ability to react quickly and work to tight deadlines.
