NRL is looking for a Senior Electrical Authorised person on the Beckton WWtW site to help undertake checks and HV switching of the High Voltage distribution network around the site prior to the site going 'live' in September. 6 months contract. Outside of IR35.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Authorised Person, you will be responsible for others working on high voltage equipment.
You will be responsible for the safety of themselves and others in HV areas.
You must take steps to ensure HV equipment is safely isolated and safe to work on.
You will also be qualified to issue safety documents such as high voltage electrical permits to work
Requirements:
You should have a strong general understanding of high voltage power networks.
You will be responsible for performing switching or for issuing safety documents relating to work on the HV distribution network
Anyone attending training must also have a good level of both spoken and written English.
Additional Information:
Must be an accredited “High Voltage (HV) Authorised Person”.
Project duration is until September 2024 initially.
This role is potentially available outside of scope of IR35 but will be determined following an assessment.
