Commercial Coordinator
Start date - End of Sep/early Oct
Contracting for 1 year then transition to permanent contract

About the role:
NRL are currently recruiting a Commercial Coordinator for a leading client based in the Transmission and Distribution sector. Our client are currently delivering on multiple high profile substation projects within the UK and are looking to expand their team. Having 70 offices around the world, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to support the construction and engineering teams by optimising cash flow, coordinating and communicating with clients to build successful relationships and providing information to help with the completion of projects.
Duties as commercial coordinator include the following:
Ensuring cash flow is optimised by producing cost estimates
Provide planning and administrative support
Maintain the projects adherence to payment timescales
Conduct internal reports through the CVR
Maintain data entry of project contact list and execution plans
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with project delivery teams enforcing the business driers and outcomes for the project, as well as:
Have the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Assist with management to prepare and submit tender enquiries
Undertake costing activities
Additional details:
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day
Hybrid working (3 days required in the office)
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate who has the following:
Previous experience in a Commercial Coordinator role OR have recently completed a qualification in Quantity surveying, finance/accountancy or similar subject
Computer literacy with experience MS office suite
Ability to read and understand a project programme
