The role requires drivers to deliver products safely in accordance with legal requirements and safe working procedures throughout the UK.
For this role you must;
- Live within a reasonable distance from Slough - within 45 minutes.
- Have a clean Licence - no points
- Have provable driving experience in London
- LGV class 2 license.
- Proven driving experience.
- ADR Training Certificate 2,3,5 and8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years).
- Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status.
- Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment.
- Able to work under his/her own initiative with excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner to achieve best in class in performance efficiencie
- Adhere to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
- Carry out pre & post vehicle checks in-line with DVSA guidelines, which may change from time-to-time.
- Loading, unloading and all other activities associated with product management in-line with distribution working instructions and procedures available via ‘RTL Knowledgebase app’.
- Successfully complete all required internal and regulatory training.
- Maintain tachograph infringement level in-line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations, whereby regular feedback, monitoring and coaching will be provided to ensure full compliance.
