NRL are currently looking to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager for a leading Energy from Waste company in the Farnborough area. This position will be on a permanent staff basis with a comprehensive package on offer.
Responsibilities:
Collaborating closely with the company leadership in identifying, evaluating and implementing commercial strategies
Structuring, drafting and negotiating project related agreements for products and services
Evaluating project constraints and providing actionable input to support client and company interests
Responsible for the assessment and documentation of project risks and proactively pursuing the resolution of internal and external commercial challenges
Developing and participating in commercial awareness training and developing the contracting standards of the organisation
Requirements:
Advanced understanding of business contracting practices including various forms of contract I.E. NEC, JCT, FIDIC
Strong negotiation skills and ability to convincingly carry complex arguments
Strong understanding of contract law principles and advanced contract drafting skills
Previous experience within Engineering, Construction, Power, Renewables would be preferable
Project commercial management during execution phase would be advantageous
