NRL are currently looking to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager for a leading Energy from Waste company in the Farnborough area. This position will be on a permanent staff basis with a comprehensive package on offer.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating closely with the company leadership in identifying, evaluating and implementing commercial strategies

  • Structuring, drafting and negotiating project related agreements for products and services

  • Evaluating project constraints and providing actionable input to support client and company interests

  • Responsible for the assessment and documentation of project risks and proactively pursuing the resolution of internal and external commercial challenges

  • Developing and participating in commercial awareness training and developing the contracting standards of the organisation

Requirements:

  • Advanced understanding of business contracting practices including various forms of contract I.E. NEC, JCT, FIDIC

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to convincingly carry complex arguments

  • Strong understanding of contract law principles and advanced contract drafting skills

  • Previous experience within Engineering, Construction, Power, Renewables would be preferable

  • Project commercial management during execution phase would be advantageous
