Welder

Welders play an important role in the fabrication and maintenance of engineering equipment. Specialisms include Flux Core Welders, S/S TIG Welders, MMA Welders, High Purity Welders and Orbital Welders. Work is typically available in shift patterns to support production timescales – with day and night shifts. A wide range of industry sectors require welders including oil, gas and petrochemical; nuclear, renewables, defence and advanced facilities.

To gain the experience needed to work on projects, candidates can acquire welding code qualifications, which typically include the 6G welding test as standard. Depending on the role, Security Clearance may a be required, as well as a valid CCNSG or EMSS.
