Job Description:



To provide a consistently high value, high quality Material Control service for all received material and product. To ensure traceability and associated document control during and after the assembly process. To carry out initial and final assembly of the product and conduct testing of product to detailed specific requirements.



Carry out initial assembly to the documentation and drawings supplied making sure all in-house procedures and all health & safety policies are adhered to

Complete the testing in accordance with instructions and records for each assembly in line with the requirements of the companies procedures

Carry out product testing in a safe and controlled manner conforming to the companies Health & Safety Polices at all times.

Complete final assembly in-line with the company procedures, recording and checking the paperwork is signed and completed prior to dispatch of the product

Performing of proof load tests and liaising with the Project team

Ensure all parts are correctly identified with the appropriate identification numbers 

Ensure parts are stored in the correct areas

Perform regular stock checks and identify shortages

Ensure product traceability throughout the inspection, assembly and testing process

Complete work in a timely and efficient manner

Fault finding and inspection of assemblies

Record all Incoming goods, responsible for ensuring all goods delivered are identified as requested on the engineering drawing or purchase order.

Ensuring goods that require dimensionally checking are brought to the attention of the Workshop team leader

Carry out auditing duties both with the client & subcontractors under the guidance of the Quality Manager

Facilitate Non Destructive Testing with 3rd Party

Undertaking of appropriate Quality duties 

To provide guidance, mentoring and training wherever possible to less experienced members of the company

Keep work area clean and tidy and free from any health & Safety risks

Keep the canteen clean and tidy

Any other duty which the company deems reasonable & acceptable
