Job Description:
A major engineering consultancy client of NRL’s is currently recruiting for a Service Delivery Technician during the roll-out of Windows 10. This is a migration from Windows 7 and is anticipated to be initially a 3 month contract.

About the role:

  • Primary Project will be the transfer from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (approximately 300 Users) initially
  • Endpoint (Windows PC) Support
  • Handles problems that the first-tier of Service desk is unable to resolve
  • May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem
  • Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise
  • Using Corporate IT Ticketing System (ServiceNow)
  • Understanding of ITIL best practices
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Requirement of Manual Handling assistance to relocate computer hardware. On occasions this may include repetitive lift and moving of computer deliveries
  • System administration

What you will need:

  • Technical Training or Technical Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience of using IT Ticketing System, preferably Service Now
  • Migrating users from Windows 7 and 10
