Sales & Marketing Manager – North East

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to join a progressive housing developer in the North East

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales team ensuring service standards are upheld and an excellent customer experience is always delivered whilst meeting sales targets
  • Management of a Marketing Coordinator and relevant external marketing agencies
  • Management of the customer care coordinator delivering a first-class after sales service in-line with company KPIs
  • Be responsible for analysing and evaluating performance including customer service quality, identifying customer service trends, determining improvements and implementing change by re-designing processes where required.
  • Utilising the sales CRM system ensuring records are accurately maintained and knowledge is utilised to inform a targeted/personalised approach to delivering excellent customer service and driving sales
  •  Developing a forward plan of target driven marketing and advertising campaigns on a site-specific basis, in line with budgets and sales targets
  •  Analysing and reporting on marketing activity to ensure a return on marketing investment (ROMI) is delivered using relevant tools such as google analytics and social media insights
  •  Manage the relationship between construction and the sales team to ensure sales information provided is up to date and correct to deliver effective communications to customers
  • Produce sales and marketing reports to the Sales and Marketing Director
  • Provide robust market research to the Sales and Marketing Director and land team advising on sales volume, pricing, target market and sales mix
  • Ensure the immaculate presentation of developments including sales area, show home, stock plots and street scene in line with company standards
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to by site-based sales executives and relevant training and paperwork is up to date
  • Train, develop and coach members of the sales teams
Any other duties that fall within the remit of the post or that are delegated by the Sales and Marketing Director

What you will need:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in Marketing and or relevant subject (preferred)
  • Extensive experience in a comparable role (essential)
  • Demonstrable ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to selling homes (essential)
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering lead generation marketing campaigns
  • Experience in using social media for marketing and/or delivering customer service (essential)
  • Experience in using email marketing systems (essential)
  • Experience in updating property portals i.e. Rightmove (essential)
  • Experience in updating websites (essential)
  • Experience in using marketing monitoring tools including google analytics, social media monitoring and press analysis
  • Experience in managing new build sales (essential)
  • Experience in managing and leading a team (essential)
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of current legislation in relation to housing issues
