Product Description

To ensure that the products and services that the Company provides are fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.

To manage the ongoing requirements and maintain our accreditation to ISO9001 and other Quality Management certification/s. Ensuring that all the requirements of the quality standards are met within the Company QMS and that the system is implemented fully within the Company. 

Liaison with all staff to ensure that the QA system is functioning effectively.

Represent the Company externally with respect to quality requirements.

Assess and implement continual improvement to QMS processes, using risk based methods. Provide support training, tools and techniques to enable others to meet / exceed the requirements of the quality standard. 

 

Main Responsibilities

To ensure compliance to the Company Quality Management System (QMS) 

To promote and to provide support in pursuit of the Company quality objectives 

To maintain and develop the Company QMS. 

To schedule and carry out internal audits and supplier audits as required.

To plan and carry out 2nd and 3rd party audits as required.

To chair management reviews and follow up on actions.

To work with Company and Project requirements to establish quality requirements and expectations (incl. suppliers).

To define quality processes and procedures in conjunction with operating staff. 

Set up and maintain documents, controls, SOP’s and test procedures.

Identify relevant quality related training needs, deliver or organise the training.

Collate and analyse performance data and maintain trends against defined parameters

Manage NCR’s, CAPA, and the Engineering Change Process.

Write technical and management systems reports as required.

Generate Quality Plans and ITP’s in accordance with Project Requirements.

Attend project closure meetings and identify and ensure the implementation of lesson’s leant. „h Implement of the practical use of risk based tools.

 

Ideal qualifications

Degree or equivalent level of education in a technical or engineering discipline.

Corporate membership of a professional institute
