Job Description:
A top Client Contractor is seeking to recruit a Payroll & HR Coordinator located in Grangemouth.
This is a 18 Month fixed position directly with our client.

About the role:
If you are a dynamic, driven, hard-working, highly organised payroll coordinator with HR administration experience who is looking for a new challenge then we want to meet you.

What you will need:

  • HNC or equivalent and extensive experience of working in a fast-paced Payroll environment
  • Must have a solid understanding of payroll fundamentals with up-to-date knowledge of statutory and payroll legislation
  • Processing high volumes of complex payroll transactions
  • Monthly payroll processing via bureau including manual arrears calculations and post-employment payments
  • Able to demonstrate interpretation and application of policies and processes
  • Ability to prioritise your own tasks and deliver to tight deadlines, able to change direction quickly to meet business needs
  • Able to assimilate and analyse vast amounts of information to provide accurate data reports, advice and guidance to the business
  • Strong communication skills, able to work both independently and within a close-knit team
  • A strong understanding of data management legislation. Able to maintain confidentiality of information and data relating to individuals, contracts and systems
  • Strong IT skills, including the use of all MS applications, email, recent HRIS systems experience is a must along with web page management
What the job will involve:
  • The role is developing as a result of a significant transformation project within the department, some of the key responsibilities that will come under the remit of this role include:
  • Dealing with complex and often contradictory information to identify key issues
  • Analysing and interpreting large quantities of data to provide useful business insights and guidance to HR advisers, Managers and Employees
  • Understanding and interpreting policies and processes, in particular reward and compensation processes
  • Able to competently use and update a cloud-based HRIS system
  • Be a competent user of IT particularly MS Excel and Word packages
  • Work under the guidance of a payroll supervisor for day-to-day activities
  • Providing support to ongoing HR and Payroll projects and transformation activities
