Mechanical Draughtsperson required for pharmaceutical project:
The successful applicant will be well versed in AutoCAD (Release 2005 or greater is a preference) and have the following:
A recognised time served engineering apprenticeship or Qualifications, HNC standard or equivalent.
Ability to use AutoCAD (versions up to 2017, primarily 2005).
Ability to produce Pipework Isometrics from a P&ID. The candidate will be expected to ascertain a pipework route on site, measure the route and pictorially represent the route and associated pipework in isometric format, with full bill of material.
Ability to site check, mark-up and amend P&IDs.
Ability to produce pipework general arrangements, both single and double line representation.
Ability to create building and mechanical arrangement and layout drawings
Preferably a pharmaceutical background, with knowledge of working to pharmaceutical quality standards.
Knowledge of Engineering Document Management systems and their use within a busy engineering department.
Have the ability to work as part of a fast paced team.
Knowledge of polymer lined pipework is a distinct advantage.
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to work unsupervised on a pharmaceutical plant.
Awareness of safety related issues in pharmaceutical / chemical plant environment
Knowledge of basic steelwork design is a preference.
