Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a major construction project based in Cumbria, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the most significant Nuclear Construction facilities in the UK.
Key skills / attributes:
HNC Qualified preferred within Electrical or Instrumentation, combined with relevant experience.
Time Served Craftsperson
IOSH Managing Safely
IPAF MEWPs for Managers
Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Electrical Installations.
Strong background in Installation of Electrical Equipment within the Nuclear Sector.
Key strengths in:
• Installation of systems (CE&I)
• Supporting and coordinating of resources to ensure timely delivery
• Maintaining, monitoring and delivery of required work through project lifecycle
• Ensuring validation, checking and verification of approved work
• Act as interface between client and subcontractor teams
• Adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures
High level knowledge of UK Nuclear Legislation & Regulations.
Performed similar roles in a regulated environment.
Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills are key to this role.
Be highly proactive, logical thinker, adaptable with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Must be a driven forward thinking professional with an ability to problem solve.
Desired; BPSS / P4 Clearance (if no clearance held must be willing to go through clearance process)
