In February NRL’s International Team will be flying the flag for UK businesses at Egypt’s largest oil and gas exhibition, EGYPS 2020.
The event brings together 11 international oil companies with over 450 businesses who support the oil, gas and petrochemical infrastructure. To showcase the support UK businesses provide to this strategically important energy region, the Energy Industries Council (EIC) will host a UK pavilion at the show. With NRL’s expertise in Egypt spanning 14 years, we were delighted to partner with the EIC alongside other members and UK energy businesses.
We caught up with Area Manager Hazem Ayoub to find out more.
How are you preparing for EGYPS?
EGYPS is a very important date in the diary here in Egypt each year. The show is held under the patronage of his excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and supported by the Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources.
Ahead of the event there is time to catch up with our clients and to arrange to meet them at EGYPS. Some of our clients are also exhibiting at the show, so it will be good to be able to support them over the three-day exhibition.
What will be the focus on EGYPS?
This year the show will look at delivering the energy needs of tomorrow – providing an important forum for businesses in the region to discuss how we can ensure our energy infrastructure is continuously adapting to change.
What can visitors expect from the show?
It is a very busy schedule, with three halls filled with exhibitor stands to visit, including NRL. There are also strategic and technical conferences running over the three days, with a range of sessions and roundtables with over 230 expert speakers.
How can visitors register to attend EGYPS?
The show will be hosted at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, 11-13th February 2020. Guests can register to attend EGYPS through the official event website: https://www.egyps.com/
