Now firmly back in the business world having cycled over 4,000 miles across the United States of America, NRL’s CEO Andrew Redmayne is celebrating two great achievements.

Taking part in the 2018 Trans Am Bike Race which challenges riders to cycle across the US from east to west coast completely unaided, Redmayne not only completed the race but generated £20,000 for charity in the process.

Keen to raise funds for much needed mental health work, NRL were delighted to match fund donations to Mind with colleagues, friends and clients all digging deep to reward the gruelling road race.

Discussing the race Redmayne commented, “Knowing I was taking on a huge challenge which would help with Mind’s amazing work helped keep morale up when I faced injuries, difficult weather, an accident and far too many near misses.

I have been overwhelmed by the interest shown and support given by family, friends and work colleagues without whom I would not have been able to take on the challenge – let alone finish it so thank you.”
