Building a team mentality
The secret, we’re told to rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean is training, training and then a whole lot more training.
Truth be told it’s about a lot more than just training, which the Fortitude IV rowing four quickly found out when initial talks soon turned to diet, food intake, logistics and team strategy. But never the less, no-one can cross the Atlantic Ocean in a rowing boat without training first!
We caught up with the 2019 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge team to find out how their training is taking shape, and more importantly how they’re tackling building a team mentality when they’re not always able to meet up together.
