Stockton-On-Tees
Stockton-On-Tees is a friendly, vibrant and beautiful market town sitting in the heart of Teesside, it lies on the River Tees, northwest of Middlesbrough. Stockton-on-Tees has recently been given the title of ‘Rising Star’ in the Great British High Street of the Year awards and provides an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and entertainment.
The engineering sector in Stockton-On-Tees comprises a wide range of companies, from large multinationals to small start-ups. There are opportunities across the engineering spectrum, from fabrication and installation through to maintenance and repair.
In Stockton-on-Tees, the bus and tram network is excellent, with regular services for most destinations. The town centre can be reached via two train stations as well as three mainline stations. There are also frequent ferries from the nearby town of Sunderland to Amsterdam.
