Labourer Jobs in Cork

Labourer

A labourer is responsible for completing manual tasks on construction and landscaping sites to support daily operations. Labourer’s often work with tradespeople including electricians, plumbers and Pipefitters – often reporting to the site supervisor.

The exact duties of a labourer will vary depending on roles, but on construction sites a labourer could be expected to load or unload materials, assemble or disassemble scaffolding, dig or fill pits, or even help move heavy equipment or machinery. In landscaping projects a labourer may be asked to cut grass, fill skips, clear gutters or sweep driveways.

In some cases formal qualifications may not be required as Labourer tasks can be taught, but sites often require a CSCS card.
