Job Description:
Our client is a highly esteemed global leader with key expertise in the Nuclear & Defence sectors, providing expertise in technical, engineering, professional and construction services.  Operating within a wide range of industry sectors, to include; Nuclear, Defence, Building & Infrastructure, Oil & Gas and Pharmaceutical.  

Our client is seeking highly experienced, professional & innovative Construction Delivery Manager(s) to be part of one of the largest Nuclear New Build teams based in Somerset, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the most significant major growth projects in the UK.

Key skills / attributes:


Qualified in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management with relevant experience.

Proven track record of the delivery of heavy, robust construction projects within various industry sectors to include; Nuclear, Power, Industrial, Chemical.

Must have a wealth of construction techniques, with expertise on forms of contracts, NEC etc.

In depth knowledge of project delivery on high value projects of £1B to £3B.

Engineering and/or Construction Background is required for this role.

Subject matter expert in erection and installation of large Civil or Mechanical or Electrical. 

Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills are key to this role with the ability to manage complex multiple workstreams and stakeholder organisations.

Robust commercial awareness skills, capability for budget forecasting and analytical interpretation.

Be highly proactive, adaptable with a ‘can do’ attitude.

A positive aptitude to learning with a strong self-development background who can learn from others and share their expertise to team members.

It would be beneficial (but not essential) to have previously worked within highly regulated industry sectors and have key insight in adherence to nuclear standards 

Must be a driven forward thinking professional with an ability to problem solve to ensure robust deliveries are achieved.

Fully adverse with Health, Safety & Quality legislation and processes, to include CDM Regulations.

Membership of a professional institution would be advantageous.
BPSS Security Clearance (if no clearance held must be willing to go through clearance process)
