The winners of the APSCo (Association of Professional Staffing Companies) awards were announced on the 14th October 2015 in London and presented by guest speaker Ann Francke, CEO of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). These coveted annual awards recognise and celebrate achievements in the recruitment profession and are a major indicator of professional standards throughout this sector.
APSCo is known as the standard in the recruitment sector and recruitment businesses wear it as a badge of quality to clients and contractors alike.
The APSCo judges commented that NRL’s nimble response to change in this regional client-led business has shown excellent value and returns. They have a real impact on their region, for clients and candidates alike, operating in atypical areas with hard-to-find skills.
Marilyn Davidson, Director of APSCo commented:
“As the only awards in the recruitment sector that require shortlisted businesses to attend a Q&A session, they are without doubt the most onerous, demanding and perhaps most challenging out there. I’m sure that the independent judges, who included representatives from the CIPD, found it challenging to pick winners from the reams of outstanding entries.”
Andrew Redmayne CEO and Founder of NRL said:
“To be named the Recruitment Business of the Year by APSCo is a fantastic achievement and particularly pleasing as praise from your peer group is praise indeed.
This achievement has been made possible by the on-going hard work, dedication and expertise of our incredible staff, who rightly, should be very proud of this achievement.
Our success in this award is a vindication of the importance NRL places on establishing and developing long term relationships with all our stakeholders, clients, candidates and staff alike.”
