  • NRL team up with Laing O’Rourke to raise funds for cancer charities

Brighton-&-BackNRL CEO Andrew Redmayne and his son Daniel, Divisional Manager of NRL’s Woking branch, recently teamed up with Project Manager George Mosey from Laing O’Rourke to raise funds for charity in this year’s Brighton and Back Sportive 2017.

The Redmayne family, who have previously cycled in other events such as Spain Pain, took part in the Brighton & Back race in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The ride included 7,500 vertical feet of climbing throughout the 150km journey, a trip that was truly taxing for all involved.

The determined trio pushed on until they were past the finish line, a tremendous achievement which has helped raise money for the two charities to develop world-leading research into new cancer treatments and pioneering equipment. These will allow the charities to continue to provide the best possible care for all their patients.
