Our Wigan Support Office have signed up to The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre’s Corporate Challenge.
The team, based at Glasshouse Business Park in Wigan, support NRL Group’s Recruitment branches, Rail and NDT services. From contractor payroll and credit control, to accounts, IT, HR and marketing – Glasshouse colleagues will be raising funds until March 2018 in a bid to reach the top of Clatterbridge’s leader board.
What is The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre?
Clatterbridge Cancer Hospital and charity work across the North West region to treat and support cancer patients. In 2015/2016 Clatterbridge treated 45,000 outpatient chemotherapy sessions, and they’ve not stopped since. In fact, demand for services continue to be so high that a brand new hospital is being built in Liverpool city centre. Opening in 2020, the site will provide specialist care for patients in the region with funds raised from Clatterbridge’s Corporate Challenge used to create a social lounge in the hospital for a break away from treatment.
What is the corporate challenge?
Each year The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre challenge businesses in the region to take £50 and turn it into at least £1,000. How the money is raised is down to the individuals, so NRL have been kept busy coming up with fundraising ideas and events to help generate donations.
